He shows full-size photos of them on page 180. They were loaded to the same OAL with paper patched bullets. Grant's book, btw, has the best photos of original cartridges.This is a Shiloh Sharps 1863 Farmingdale low serial number 54 caliber. Excellent condition overall with pristine bore. Breech block and gas seal work perfectly with minor discoloring of the gas seal. Bought it new in 1976 and shot approx. 400 rounds. For comparison, DGW is selling a Pedersoli 1859 Sharps for $1560.
