Some aftermarket kits (read: cheap-o) use steel needles with no Viton tips. This steel needle wears the braks seat via vibration and ruins the carb.FLOAT LEVEL for all is 15.5 mm. IDLE VACUUM for all is 200-240 mm HG (mercury) VB 21's are on 1978-79 CB/CM 400 T models. The 30mm carbs are on everything else that ISN'T an automatic. The 28's are on AUTOMATICS only.
