This will give you the widest selections of guilds to join, and the healthiest auction house, and there are really no negatives.Firemaw will likely have login queues at the release of the expansion and every major content release too. But it has a healthy population, you'll never have an issue finding a raid or arena partner. Earthshaker is pretty decent. It's a nice populated server. Area-52 is the biggest Horde server. It’s fine. Def a lot of people around. It’s more of a self-contained place as opposed to other servers that have a ton of connected realms and CRZ in open world. Dalaran wow has outdated inferior scripts and low pop, while Cromiecraft is still in its lvling phase (they release 10 by 10 lvls every few months or so) with sub 1k pop at best and by now is considered a meme in the community. MG Alliance is more or less the same like WRA Horde ...So for example your realm might follow Central time zone but the datacenter the realm belongs to could be in LA. There's usually guilds and communities dedicated to it, and people use addons such as TRP to write profiles and so on to supplement the experience. On EU the only "real" RP server left is Argent Dawn, the rest are either dead or are RP realms only in name. It's majority Alliance but plenty of Horde stuff too. Go for Silvermoon/Ravencrest. Basically having the most people on your faction on the server is the most important. Advantages are that you get more guilds, more people in cities and trade chat, and a healthy economy (though that is not faction-specific).
